IWACU means “our place” in Kirundi—a name rooted in home, identity, and belonging.
I grew up watching my mother work the land as a farmer, growing beans, corn, spinach, and yams. Everything we had came from her hands. She taught me the value of hard work, patience, and building something of your own.
IWACU starts with coffee, but it doesn’t end there.
Our vision is to grow into a marketplace for African goods food, clothing, and everyday essentials that stay true to the culture and roots.
